Bishop Keanu Motorcycle Accident Jackson Roanoke County, VA Death: Authorities Identify Victim in Motorcycle Crash and Announce Arrest in Connection to the Incident

A woman was arrested for DUI and refusal following a fatal motorcycle crash in Roanoke County on Friday, June 19. The incident occurred around 7:35 p.m. on the 3600 block of Colonial Avenue, according to Roanoke County Police.

Police reports indicate that a Honda SUV, driven by 64-year-old Barbara Ann Callahan of Roanoke, was traveling along Colonial Avenue when she collided with a motorcycle. The motorcyclist, identified as 28-year-old Bishop Keanu Jackson, a resident of Roanoke County, was seriously injured in the crash and was immediately transported to Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Sadly, Jackson succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead later.

Following the collision, authorities arrested Callahan at the scene. She was charged with driving under the influence and refusing a chemical test. Police stated that additional charges related to the incident are pending, as authorities continue their investigation into the crash.
